First story post so bare with me.

This is my first attempt at a story post. Not even sure why other than I can, and I'm curious to see how it turns out.

Speaking of cans, this is a story about my newest soil blocker, ironically the blocker on the left is made from an empty food can.

Both ends are obviously cut out and one end was saved to compress the soil. It works well, though I wanted a larger soil block as I am starting my seeds way early this year.

I believe the larger blocks will allow for more root growth before the plants outgrow the blocks. Hopefully lasting until Spring time.

The one one on the right is a 4" PVC pipe connector. I ground the lip out of the middle to have a smooth wall to make block removal easier.

I used the can end to compress the soil but will be making an end for it out of a piece of wood before long. It will be sealed with boiled linseed oil to protect it from water damage.

I'll post updates as time goes by.
